Stanbra Powell’s 8th Annual Golf Day in aid of Billy’s wish to walk

When: Wednesday 26th June

Where: Silverstone Golf Club, Buckingham

In just over 4 weeks time Stanbra Powell will be hosting their 8th charity golf day at Silverstone Golf Club in Buckingham. Over the years this event has raised thousands of pounds for local causes and last year they raised over £5000 for local charity ‘Billy’s wish to walk’.

Billy’s wish to walk was set up by parents Karen & Pete, to help fundraise towards a goal of £85,000 so that their son Billy can have an operation to reduce spasticity in his legs and intensive physio. With lots of events planned, they hope to hit this target and give Billy the treatment he needs to be able to walk.

We are delighted to be able to support a local Banbury charity again this year. Adam Prewer, Director at Stanbra Powell, explained that all the staff felt it was important to give back to the Banbury community that they have been a part of as Estate Agents for so long and the golf day is a way in which they can do this.
